In February of 2018, Elon Musk launched his $100,000 Tesla Roadster into space on the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket.
The Roadster is still cruising around our solar system on an elliptical path around the Sun.
In November of 2018, the convertible made its way past Mars and will likely fly by Venus and Mercury, too..
